I can only conclude that the property developers are sharing the vision of the 'new' government that more supply is coming ==> lower price? This is economics 101. If they are still agressive bidding land, that mean they don't beleive in what the government is saying.
Indeed they buy land cheap(er) now may not mean they sell them cheap(er) subsequently.
